Job Summary

With excellent organizational skills, the primary responsibility of the AR and AP Specialist will be managing Healthfuse’s incoming and outgoing cash payments, ensuring proper and accurate entry in Healthfuse’s accounting system, preparing checks and wires, receiving and recording deposits, and reconciling month end cash balances.

With Healthfuse infrastructure, tools, and processes, all work performed by an AR and AP Specialist is completed from Healthfuse’s offices or remote locations. As a result, there is no travel requirement for this position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Near Term Responsibilities
    • Enter all vendor invoices into Healthfuse accounting system
    • Manage Healthfuse AP identifying invoices due for payment
    • Prepare all checks and wires for vendor payment
    • Generate and distribute customer invoices
    • Collaborate with Healthfuse Customer Advisors, Sales Executives, and Process Analysts to ensure Customers understand balances due and
    • proatively work to resolve discrepancies
    • Record all incoming payments in Healthfuse’s accounting systemReconcile monthly cash balances
  • Significant room for growth as team is built out, including:
    • Monthly Executive Reporting
    • Customer analytics
    • Technical accounting policy / entries
    • Special Projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with confidence, clarity, and credibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems

Desired Qualifications

  • 1.5+ Years of professional experience preferably relating to accounting and back office work
  • Experience with Quickbooks preferred
  • High ethical standards and integrity
  • Competitive, motivated, and driven to succeed
  • Ability to work individually and within a team
  • Possess strong IQ and EQ abilities to both problem solve and relate with clients and vendors
  • Ability to adapt and contribute to continuous improvement as the company grows and evolves to best meet client and company needs
