Job Summary
Report directly to the Healthfuse CFO. The Accounting Associate is an execution-focused role responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and audit/documentation readiness. This position plays a key role in supporting existing financial processes and designing new processes to meet the company’s growing needs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
The Accounting Associate supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close, as well as analytical and reporting support.
This is a hands-on role focused on accuracy, organization, Excel-based tracking, and dependable execution.
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounting support, finance administration, billing, bookkeeping, or related roles
- Experience supporting AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, expense tracking, or payroll coordination preferred
- Experience supporting KPI tracking, reporting, or dashboard/scorecard maintenance preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
Core Responsibilities
Accounting Operations & Reporting Support:
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking
- Track expenses, reimbursements, and other recurring finance workflows
- Coordinate payroll inputs and reporting support
- Maintain Excel-based trackers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Support monthly close preparation and recurring reporting needs
- Identify discrepancies, missing documentation, or process gaps and escalate to leadership
- Support existing financial processes and assist in designing new processes to meet growing business needs
KPI, Scorecard & Growth Initiative Support:
- Support the development and maintenance of department KPI packages
- Track and report progress toward key financial and operational growth initiatives
- Maintain and provide insight into the Healthfuse companywide scorecard, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
Audit & Documentation Support:
- Maintain organized financial documentation for audit and internal review purposes
- Track audit requests, due dates, and follow-ups as needed
- Assist with compiling documentation and support materials
Process & Administrative Support:
- Help document and maintain finance-related procedures and workflows
- Support ad hoc reporting, file organization, and recurring administrative tasks for the finance team

- Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups, and data tracking)
